Explosion at the port of Beirut.

Between tears and cries of anger, because of the explosion, which devastated much of the city of Beirut, with at least:

• 171 dead

• 6,000 wounded

• 300,000 people without residents

• 120 schools destroyed

• 5 large hospitals in Beirut, including three of the largest, are "out of service"

• 55% of the population below the poverty line.

Help For Needy Families

Distribution of $ 2,500 in food & drug vouchers. For Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Distribution of food products & medicines to 30 families Beirut and its suburbs.

 

One Year After the Explosion

• 200 dead and thousands injured

• 300,000 homeless inhabitants

• Total collapse of the economy

• More than 900,000 Lebanese are unable to obtain enough food and benefit from basic services.

• Prices of basic and essential items have increased by 580% since October 2020.

• More than half of the population lives below the poverty line.

• The official unemployment rate has increased by 35%.

• 90% devaluation of the Lebanese pound in 2020.
